About Us:
Olympus Cheese is a family-owned artisan cheesemaker located in Coorparoo, Brisbane. For over 40 years, we've handcrafted award-winning Mediterranean-style cheeses and yoghurts using traditional methods and quality Australian milk. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Factory Hand to join our small but dedicated team.

About the Role:
This hands-on role is perfect for someone looking to get involved in food production in a supportive, team-focused environment. You'll be working alongside experienced cheesemakers, supporting all aspects of the production process.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the production of cheese and yoghurt

Setting up and packing down the production area

Cleaning and sanitising equipment and work areas

Manual handling and heavy lifting

Following food safety standards and procedures

Assisting with pasteurisation and packaging tasks

General factory and warehouse duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

Physically fit and capable of manual labour and repetitive tasks

Comfortable working in warm and humid environments

Reliable with good time management

Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Own reliable transport

Food handling or factory experience preferred but not essential

Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is a bonus

What’s on Offer:
