About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Orchard Hand to join our team at Wybaleena apples' in Batlow, NSW. As a fulltime Orchard Hand, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our thriving horticulture business, helping to maintain and care for our apple orchards.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the planting, pruning, and harvesting of apple trees

Operating and maintaining orchard equipment and machinery

Monitoring the health and growth of apple trees, and implementing appropriate care and maintenance

Adhering to all safety protocols and environmental regulations

Collaborating with the wider team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the orchard

What we're looking for

Experience working in a horticulture or agricultural setting, preferably in an orchard environment

Strong practical skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to identify and address issues with apple trees and crops

Familiarity with the use and maintenance of orchard machinery and equipment

A positive, team-oriented attitude and the willingness to contribute to the overall success of the business

A commitment to adhering to all safety and environmental regulations

A valid driver's licence
