Field Service Technician – High Travel | High Salary | Monday–Friday

A rare opportunity is now available for a skilled Field Service Technician ready to take the next step in their career. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, working hands-on with automation and packaging systems, and travelling extensively across regional NSW, interstate, and occasionally overseas to support high-end industrial clients.

With 4–5 days per week on the road (Monday–Friday) and weekends at home, this is a dynamic, high-responsibility role suited to a technician who thrives in varied environments. What You’ll Be Doing:

Travel to customer sites across NSW, Australia, and occasionally internationally

Service, maintain, and commission industrial packaging and automation equipment

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation faults (including PLCs and SCADA systems)

Deliver outstanding customer support and build long-term client relationships

Operate autonomously while staying connected to a collaborative support team

What You’ll Need:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar field service, maintenance, or automation role

Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills

Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley or Siemens highly regarded)

Willingness and ability to travel extensively during the week

Great communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
