Taurus is a privately owned and operated specialist mining supplier with various clients around Australia.

We are seeking an experienced Process Technician/Control room operator for a Sand Mine Wet Plant. This will initially be a casual labour hire role, with view to be a permanent employee.

You will be required to monitor the wet plant control room as well as operate a Loader (training provided). This role will require fault finding abilities and minor general maintenance to keep the plant running.

This position is based in Mount Compass and would suit people living in the southern suburbs of Adelaide (Noarlunga/Hallett Cove) or Victor Harbour & surrounds.

Due to fatigue management we cannot consider anyone who has to travel more than 45 mins each way to site.

About the Role

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following;

Experience in a Mine site or quarry processing plant.

Ability to operate a Loader in a safe and effective manner is preferred however this can be taught to you.

Current drivers licence and own transport.

A commitment to your own safety and those who work with you.

Successful candidates will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.

Current roster is 7d/7o, 7n/7o

You will work on a days/nights roster on a weekly rotating bass.

Excellent hourly pay rates with full penalty rates on offer.
