The Package: $95,424.68 - $105,446.64 gross per week + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 14 of the QPRC Salary System 2025).
Full-time – 35 hours per week. Flex time conditions may apply.
On days when providing relief to the Stores Officer, you will be required to start early at 6.00am at Queanbeyan Depot.
Are you experienced in procurement activities and have strong analytical skills? Council is looking for a committed professional to join our Finance team as a Procurement officer.
In this role you will:
· Manage Councils’ procurement policies, systems, and processes.
· Provide procurement advice and guidance to staff.
· Analyse organisational procurement data and prepare periodic procurement plans.
· Identify opportunities for efficiencies and savings.
· Assist in high value and high-risk procurements, tenders and evaluations.
We are looking for someone who:
· Possesses relevant business, finance, or procurement qualifications and /or experience in a similar role.
· Has experience in the establishment and maintenance of procurement frameworks.
· Demonstrates the ability to think analytically.
· Demonstrates the ability to analyse costs and benefits.
· Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate.
