THE ROLE

We are seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, results driven Graduate or Junior accountant to join the team in our Parramatta office, immediate start. You will be a part of our growing business services and tax advisory team, responsible for the day to day needs of our broad business services and clients. With an attractive salary package in a mid-sized firm, this role will provide prospects for growth within the medium to long term.

ABOUT US

We are a well-established Chartered Accounting Practice with Senior Management from a Big 4 background. Our wider team consists of 25 Plus Partners and 100 plus colleagues in seven offices across Sydney, Gold Coast and back office in Manila. We specialise in servicing clients with extensive investment property portfolios; we are more than just tax accountants.

DUTIES

Highest standard of ethics, confidentiality and professionalism.

Willingness to learn, show initiative and be a positive team player.

Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail, required in preparation and review of periodic compliance work including Financial Accounts and Income Tax Returns.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as direct communication with clients is an integral part of the role.

Opportunity to work alongside the Partners and senior management in completing advisory work on matters including asset protection, tax planning, succession planning, estate planning, due diligence and corporate governance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

0-3 years Accounting experience.

Training and mentoring will be provided.

Bachelor of Commerce degree with an Accounting major preferred but not essential.
