About the role

At Groove Tiles & Stone, our Sales Representatives are at the heart of the customer experience, helping clients discover tiles that reflect their personal style and bring their design visions to life. With showrooms located across Brisbane’s Bayside and City rim, we’re looking for team members who thrive on challenges and understand the importance of building genuine relationships with clients.

This role is all about offering expert advice, assisting customers in colour coordination, and helping them create spaces that feel uniquely theirs. You’ll engage proactively with both new and returning clients, providing tailored solutions and showcasing our premium range of tile and stone products with a strong focus on style, quality, and service.

We offer both part-time and full-time positions, with comprehensive training provided. This showroom-based role includes shifts from Monday to Saturday.

What you'll be doing

Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities by reaching out to potential customers

Providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise to help clients find the perfect products for their needs

Preparing and presenting tile specifications and sales quotes

Maintaining detailed records of all sales activities and customer interactions

Collaborating with the wider sales and marketing team to develop and implement effective sales strategies

Merchandising, creating and upkeeping a showroom that captivates clients with its visual appeal

What we're looking for

Proven track record of success in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably within the home improvement, construction or retail industry

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively negotiate with customers

Excellent product knowledge and the ability to provide expert advice and guidance to customers

Highly organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools

A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets
