About the role
Corporate Health Management is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team at Sanctuary Lakes Recreation Club in Point Cook, Victoria. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming lessons to children and adults in a fun, safe and engaging environment. This is a casual role with flexible scheduling to fit your availability.
What you'll be doing
Delivering structured swimming lessons to students of all ages and abilities
Assessing students' swimming skills and developing personalised lesson plans to help them improve
Ensuring the safety of students in the water at all times
Providing encouragement and motivation to help students progress and achieve their goals
Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
Assisting with the setup and pack-up of the swimming pool area
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 years' experience as a qualified Swim Instructor
Relevant swimming instruction qualifications (Austswim, SwimAustralia)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students of all ages
Excellent swimming ability and knowledge of swimming techniques
Ability to work well in a team and follow safety protocols
Working with Children Check and First Aid certification
