GreaseBoss, a three-time winner of the Advanced Technology award at the Sunshine Coast Business Awards, is on the lookout for a Customer Operations & Logistics Officer to help manage fulfilment, inventory, and customer support for our innovative technology products, assembled right here in Queensland. This role can be completed during school hours or through other flexible working arrangements, as long as key responsibilities are met.

About the Role

As a Customer Operations & Logistics Officer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring products are delivered to our customers on time and our customers are set up for success. You’ll coordinate shipping and logistics, manage inventory levels, and respond to customer needs throughout the customer onboarding process. You’ll work closely with our Engineering, Production, and Commercial teams to ensure orders are accurate, well-documented, and well-supported. You’ll also assist with procurement activities where needed to ensure stock availability.

This is a hands-on, team-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety, finding practical solutions, staying organised, and creating structure through clear processes and documentation.

Duties

Work collaboratively with teams across the business to coordinate customer orders, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate product and account configuration

Manage international and domestic shipping and logistics, ensuring smooth delivery and clear documentation

Respond to customer questions related to order status as well as product and account setup

Configure and package products for dispatch based on customer needs, including labelling and documentation

Monitor and update inventory levels using an inventory management system, ensuring accuracy and availability

Liaise with freight providers to coordinate shipments and resolve any delays or challenges

Assist in maintaining supplier relationships and placing orders when required to support stock levels

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, particularly around logistics, customer responsiveness, and order accuracy

Responsibilities

Gain a strong understanding of GreaseBoss products and how they are configured for different customer applications

Ensure logistics processes run smoothly, with timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers

Work with internal teams to ensure customer-specific configurations are documented and fulfilled correctly

Track and respond to customer support needs related to deliveries, product setup, and basic troubleshooting

Maintain clear records of shipments, inventory, and customer product configurations

Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners as needed to support order fulfilment

Identify and implement process improvements that enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency

Support procurement activities as needed to ensure timely restocking of components and materials

Key Performance Metrics

On-time delivery of customer orders

High accuracy in fulfilment and product configuration

Positive customer feedback and fast response to order and setup queries

Inventory well maintained, supporting both production and sales

Logistics issues resolved promptly and professionally

Shipment and support documentation up to date and clearly structured

Contribution to improved efficiency and clarity in customer support and fulfilment processes

Desired Skills

Experience in logistics coordination, inventory control, and customer operations

Knowledge of shipping and freight coordination, including international logistics

Strong attention to detail and process discipline

Enjoyment in creating structure, documentation, and efficiency in day-to-day operations

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, particularly in responding to customer requests

Familiarity with inventory management systems or willingness to learn quickly

Ability to work independently while collaborating with production, engineering, and customer teams

Comfortable assisting with procurement tasks when required
