About the role

The CIS Logistics Officer will be part of a larger service delivery team applying logistics expertise to ensure an expansive ICT enterprise appropriately supports a broad capability. This is achieved through the professional management of equipment, hardware, software and licensing arrangements while managing a range of both internal and external stakeholders, including commercial providers.

The individual will be expected to exercise independence and initiative as part of a broader effort, bringing a high degree of integrity and diligence while simultaneously exercising creativity and problem-solving skills to identify ways to achieve desired logistics outcomes.

Essential Requirements

The below key requirements are required to be demonstrated by all employees to Omni.

• Be an Australian Citizen
  

• Hold a current TSPV Australian Government Security Clearance
  

• Have excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
  

In addition, this role will require:

• Fifteen or more years working in a logistics or warehouse environment, preferably with CIS/Communications equipment.
  

• Working in a Defence environment aligned with Defence Logistics manuals and policy.
  

• High proficiency in asset management software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  

• Excellent attention to detail.
