About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Venue and Event Sales Coordinator to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract (parental leave cover).

In this role, you’ll manage the full sales process—from initial enquiry through to handover—with a focus on providing outstanding customer service, building strong client relationships, and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings. This is a process-driven role that ensures consistency for clients while working closely with the Venue & Event Sales Manager to support commercial outcomes and maximise venue occupancy.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a proactive, experienced individual with a strong sales and customer service mindset. Key capabilities include:

• Sales & Conversion: Proactively pursue and convert venue hire enquiries to meet revenue targets and increase calendar occupancy.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with agencies, partners, and returning clients.
• Sales Strategy & Reporting: Maintain a live sales pipeline and contribute to forecasting and performance reporting.
• Enquiry Handling & Coordination: Act as the first point of contact, qualify leads, conduct site visits, and manage booking processes.
• Booking System Management: Use our event systems and communication tools to ensure accuracy, responsiveness, and smooth client experiences.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless handovers and successful event outcomes.
