About the Role

As Merchandise Manager, you’ll report to the Branch Manager and oversee the day-to-day operations of our merchandise department. You’ll lead a team of 4+ staff, manage inventory and retail processes, and work closely with suppliers to ensure smooth store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and support the merchandise team

Manage inventory levels and stock movements

Coordinate retail operations

Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners for timely deliveries

Maintain accurate records and contribute to budgeting and reporting

Drive operational efficiency and uphold safety standards

About You

We’re looking for someone who’s organised, practical, and a natural leader. You’ll thrive in a hands-on role and enjoy being part of a community-focused team.

You’ll bring:

Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse or retail operations

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Confidence using systems like SAP, Salesforce and Microsoft Excel

A current forklift licence (HR licence a bonus!)
