WHAT IS THE ROLE?
We are currently experiencing large growth that’s created an opportunity for a well organised, versatile, practical thinking Boilermaker to join our Victorian team.
As a Boilermaker, you will report to the Regional Manager and primarily be responsible for the repair, fabrication, and maintenance of our market leading loading platforms whilst also providing hands on assistance to the yard team in preparing our equipment for hire.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU MUST:
Have proven experience as a Welder/Boilermaker
Possess a Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking), Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or similar
Have the required tickets and experience to MIG Weld & Fabricate
Approach safety with a strict WHS attitude
Be highly detail orientated / have a high attention to detail
Work well within a team, with the ability to also work autonomously, productively
Be able to multi-task and prioritise effectively
Have the ability to work well under pressure and think on your feet
Have a high level of pride in your workmanship
Able to pass a full medical assessment including a drug and alcohol test
