Are you a qualified Fitter & Machinist Tradesperson searching for your next opportunity? We’re looking for two skilled Fitters to join our team in Cardiff, NSW. If you excel in working with rotating assemblies and are dedicated to maintaining high standards, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Attributes:

• Certified Fitter & Machinist Tradesperson
• Experience with rotating assemblies in industrial, mining, or power station settings
• Proficient in the overhaul of rotating equipment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Attributes:

• Experience in overhauling fans, compressors, and turbines
• Expertise in rotating machine equipment
• Skilled in balancing both small and large rotating assemblies
• Proficiency in shaft alignment on rotating machinery
• Dogman or Riggers qualification
• Welding skills
• Experience in working on mine sites, power stations, and various industrial locations
• Training in HSE practices
• First aid certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop technical and mechanical solutions to complex machinery issues
• Address customer concerns about production downtime with professionalism
• Make informed decisions regarding the repair of fans and air heaters, drawing on your experience and training
• Prioritize safety in the workplace, ensuring a safe work environment even over scheduling concerns
• Refer customers to the Manager when necessary to ensure their satisfaction with the proposed solutions
