What You'll Do:

You're a Senior Finance Business Partner who will blend sharp financial analysis with hands-on business advice. You'll work with operational teams and head office management, providing top-tier financial insight and helping the business steer towards increased profitability and smoother operations. In addition, you'll mentor a small team and have direct management of one junior FBP.

• Take charge of the annual budgeting process, ensuring everyone is on the same page and the numbers add up.
• Keep on top of the financial pulse of the business with regular weekly and monthly forecasts.
• Monitor business performance and steer the ship back on course when things look off-track.
• Dive deep into P&Ls, providing actionable insights to help drive profitability and efficiency.
• Help maintain systems for managing short-term forecasting
• Provide financial direction to Operations and collaborate with stakeholders to tackle challenges head-on.
• Guide management on cost-saving initiatives and performance improvements.
• Work with a data team to develop performance reports that make life easier for everyone.
• Provide ongoing coaching and advice to help the business make smarter financial decisions, day in, day out.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior colleagues in the Business Performance Team

What You'll Bring:

This is a position for an experienced Business Partner; you'll be an outstanding communicator and have operated in this space previously - unfortunately this is not an opportunity for a first mover from Audit or Business Services.

You'll be viewed as a Senior with previous experience of mentorship / supervision.

• Fully qualified accountant
• Strong Excel capability
• Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner position (you know how to partner with Operation teams)
• Outstanding verbal and written communication
• Strong commercial acumen
