About the role

Mick Murray Welding (N.T.) is seeking full-time employee to join our team in Townsville, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and possible maintenance of a variety of road transport equipment.

What you'll be doing

Assemble, install, and maintain a range of mechanical and industrial equipment, following technical specifications and blueprints

Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any operational challenges

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work performed

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience in mechanical assembly and fitting

Sound technical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as measurement and testing equipment

Compentent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve equipment issues

Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment
