H People is currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Trades Assistant to join the team at a busy galvanising facility in Carole Park. If you're hands-on, not afraid of a bit of dirt, and keen to build your skills in a fast-paced industrial setting – this one’s for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

🛠 Assisting in daily operations of a galvanising plant

🚜 Operating a forklift to move steel and materials around site

🔩 Supporting tradespeople with preparation and finishing tasks

📈 Reading and interpreting basic plans and drawings

🧰 Performing basic fabrication work with hand and power tools

💪 Working overtime as required to meet production demands

🧽 Keeping work areas safe, clean, and organised

What You’ll Need:

✅ Valid Forklift Licence (LF)

✅ Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test

✅ Basic fabrication or metalwork experience

✅ Comfortable reading and interpreting plans (advantageous)

✅ Willingness to work overtime and do hard, physical labour

✅ Strong work ethic and a team-first attitude

✅ Not afraid to get your hands dirty in a real industrial environment
