About the role
Reporting to the Centre Manager Gippsland, your respobsibiltiies include supporting children and young people through tailored counselling, case management, and group programs. This role focuses on helping clients strengthen their connection to education and community, while supporting them to achieve their personal goals. Working across schools and community settings, you will deliver culturally sensitive, trauma-informed support to young people from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing disadvantage or marginalisation. This is a casual role based in Wonthaggi outreach to Bass Coast and South Gippsland.
About you
- Degree in social work, counselling or related field
- Demonstrated experience in working with children and young people from a child/young person-centred and strength-based perspective.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload to meet timeframes and job-related expectations.
