About Us:
EnviroCivil is a licensed EPA waste facility based in Kings Park, Blacktown. We specialise in the disposal and treatment of wet waste streams including Non-Destructive Excavation (NDD) slurry, drilling muds, stormwater, and street sweepings. We pride ourselves on excellent turnaround times, professional service, and a clean, safe working environment.

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Yard Person to join our growing hardworking team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, can operate machinery, and takes pride in maintaining a tidy and functional yard space.

Hours of work would be Monday to Friday (10am-6.30pm) and rotating roster of a Saturday.

Duties Include:

Assisting with the tipping and management of incoming wet waste loads

Operating high-pressure hoses and wash-down equipment

General yard duties including sweeping, shovelling, and site cleanliness

Basic equipment maintenance and cleaning

Supporting site operations including traffic management when required

Following all WHS and EPA compliance protocols

Weighbridge operation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders

Directing customers and vehicles on site

Site housekeeping

Assist in screening and processing waste using excavators or loaders

Operate an excavator to load and haul daily cover material

Operate front-end loader as required

Liaise with customers to assist with the disposal of various waste types

Maintenance and safety checks on all equipment

Willing to learn and successfully operate a centrifuge

Requirements:

Physically fit and willing to work in outdoor/wet environments

Current NSW driver’s licence (essential)

White Card (Construction Induction) desirable

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Possess moderate computer experience

Knowledge of weighbridge operations or experience in the waste industry - (ideal not essential)

Experience operating plant equipment (e.g. front-end loader, excavator)
