Your new role

As the Material / Purchasing Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials and services to support operational excellence. You'll manage supplier relationships, monitor inventory, and drive procurement efficiency.

• Issue and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  
• Monitor inventory levels and liaise with warehouse and production teams
  
• Maintain accurate procurement records and track supplier performance
  
• Resolve delivery delays, quality issues, and invoice discrepancies
  
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procurement regulations
  
• Support the development of cost-effective procurement strategies
  
• Monitor supplier forecasts and key performance indicators
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  
• 2+ years' experience in purchasing or procurement
  
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
  
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
  
• Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles
  
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is a plus.
  
• Vendor relationship management
  
• ERP/MRP systems proficiency (e.g., SAP)
