Disability Support Workers for Immediate Start
Butterfly House are taking expressions of interest for Disability Support Workers working within SIL/ILO Teams and Drop In Supports. In order to be successful for the role you will need to have the following:
-Minimum of Cert 3 in Individual Support or completing, trainees are also welcome
-Knowledge or experience providing support to individuals with various support needs including Mental Health and person-centred practice
-Current Blue Card and Worker Screening
-Police Check/First Aid/CPR
-Current drivers licence and Car Insurance
The positions are a mixture of weekdays and weekends but some include a requirement to be available for inactive sleepovers. Supports we offer include Community Access, Self-Care, Domestic Assistance, Health and Wellbeing, Tenancy Matters and Independent Living skills. The position services the Toowoomba area and surrounds. In-house training is given, and we encourage internal promotion and support opportunities for advancement.
