About the role:

Operating within Social Work (Strathfield), the Associate Professor in Social Work will provide academic leadership in the discipline and make outstanding and original contributions to research, scholarship and teaching in this discipline, as well as enhance the student experience and life. The Associate Professor is also expected to:

• make an outstanding contribution to the governance and collegial life inside and outside the University

• build relationships with external organisations and communities

• provide academic and HDR student supervision

• Provide leadership for the campus and national social work program.

What we offer:

Total remuneration valued to $202,205 - $222,587 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $171,352 - $188,772 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level D), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.

Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
