About Skye Therapy:
Our purpose is to support children to thrive in learning, play and life. We believe that with the right direction and support, the sky is the limit! Skye Therapy is a growing, clinician-owned practice, offering paediatric occupational therapy services in Brisbane and surrounds. While we specialise in developing attention in children, we help children and teens with all areas of learning, play and self-care. We are based out of a clinic in Fairfield, QLD, which serves as a team hub and therapy space, from which we often travel to provide children support in their homes, schools, kindergartens, etc. We provide services to NDIS, Medicare and private paying families.
We value:
Connection: We care about building strong connections through collaboration, empathy, and curiosity to enable positive outcomes for our clients.
Collaboration: We recognise that children live, learn and play within the context of their family, caregivers, educators and other health professionals. We work within this social context to collaborate with the child and their adults on what growth areas are priorities, what it looks like to have a successful outcome, and how these goals will be achieved.
Empowerment: We care about placing power in the hands of children and their families by building their knowledge, confidence, and readiness, so they can thrive in life, learning, and play. We recognize that children and their families have many strengths already within their grasp that they can use to step towards their growth areas, so we help identify the tools already in their toolbelt, increase skills in using these tools, and add extra tools to help them live a healthier and happier life.
