Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG) are seeking a Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our Department of Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology. This is a chance to work alongside medical, nursing and allied health professionals within the FSH Youth Inpatient Unit.

Position Profile
We are looking for a compassionate, patient-centered clinical psychologist with experience and expertise in comprehensive assessment, formulation and psychological therapy to work with our youth consumers aged 16 – 24 years to optimize their psychological and mental health well-being and that of their families/carers. As the successful applicant you will lead the team of psychologists working within the MDT in the Youth Unit, provide clinical supervision to Clinical Psychology Registrars and Trainees.
We currently have a Permanent and Fixed Term vacancy totalling 1.0 FTE available to be filled immediately.

About our Department
We are a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated team of Clinical Psychologists and Clinical Neuropsychologists working across diverse clinical specialties within the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group (FSFHG).
Working alongside medical, nursing and allied health professionals, we deliver comprehensive, evidence-informed psychological services to paediatric, young adult, adult, and older adult inpatients and outpatients, and their families/carers, experiencing complex medical, chronic health, cognitive, rehabilitation and mental health needs to optimize medical treatment, rehabilitation and improve psychological and mental health well-being.
As part of our commitment to excellent professional standards and continuous growth and development, we offer clinical supervision (Area of Practice Endorsement), operational supervision, mentoring, support to become a Board Approved Supervisor for eligible clinicians, with access to an internal education program. In addition, clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists have opportunities to contribute to quality improvement, service development, projects and translational clinical research within the department as well as the broader Allied Health Directorate across FSFHG.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital offering a range of health services including the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers specialised services such as heart and lung transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
