About The Role:

This permanent role works on a balanced 7/7 days-only FIFO roster, reporting directly to the Principal – ICT.
You’ll support and maintain critical operational technology and communications systems across a busy mining environment — ideal for someone with a hands-on field tech mindset and strong troubleshooting or IT help desk background.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide direct support, servicing & maintenance of mine OT & ICT systems
• Complete root cause analysis (RCA) to drive reliability improvements
• Maintain & troubleshoot digital radio (Tait), Cambium/Cisco mesh, Titan GPS, microwave & site networks
• Document work, contribute to tech knowledge bases & uphold site housekeeping standards
• Collaborate closely with your back-to-back and other site support teams

Tech You’ll Work With

• Digital radios (Tait) – advanced troubleshooting
• Cambium & Cisco mesh, microwave – critical systems
• Cisco switching & networks
• Titan & GPS in-vehicle systems, solar skids & trailers
• CCTV & Wenco exposure highly regarded

What You’ll Bring

• Cert III Automotive Electrical or similar
• ACMA Open, EWP, Dogging, Apply First Aid
• C Class driver’s licence
• Previous hands-on or help desk troubleshooting experience across IT/OT environments
• Ability to read electronic schematics & support Windows-based networks
• Mining OT/ICT system background preferred
