Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Student Wellbeing and Respect Coordinator to lead the development of programs, resources, and communications that promote student health, wellbeing, and safety. This role is central to ECU’s commitment to preventing gender-based violence and creating a respectful and inclusive learning environment.

In this role, you will design and implement proactive wellbeing initiatives and campaigns that support student mental health and address the proactive factors that can support students experiencing financial, physical and emotional stress. You will also work collaboratively with ECU’s Student Equity Project team to develop and deliver resources and communications that promote respectful relationships and student safety and support ECU’s institutional response to gender-based violence through education, prevention, and awareness initiatives. In addition to this, you will collaborate with students and stakeholders to co-design programs that reflect diverse student needs and lived experiences and use data and student insights to inform and evaluate the effectiveness of wellbeing and respect initiatives.

We are looking for a values-driven professional with a strong understanding of student wellbeing, prevention of gender-based violence, and inclusive practice. You bring creativity, empathy, and a collaborative mindset to your work. You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage..

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $104,030 TO $116,563 PA (HEW 7) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
