Purpose of the role:

The Vet Business Manager is responsible for driving sales through Vet channels including Integrators, Consultant Vets, Vet Wholesalers & Distributors, Feedmills, Equine Vets, Dairy Vets, and Large Mixed Animal Practices. The role involves managing new and existing clients through strategic planning and delivering on sales objectives.

The candidate should be based out of Victoria. We will consider candidates who are based out of North Melbourne, Bendigo, Shepperton or any other location based out of Victoria.

Overnight travel is a requirement for the role.

Key Responsibilities-

Drive and achieve sales growth through relationships with new and existing clients.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including Integrators, Consultant Vets, Vet Wholesalers & Distributors, Feedmills, Equine Vets, Dairy Vets, and Large Mixed Animal Practices.

Recognize new opportunities for sales growth and deliver sales objectives and KPIs.

Update CRM daily with accurate data and reports.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and adjusting sales strategies accordingly.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service and support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Collaborate with the Sales team and customer service teams to ensure exceptional service to customers.

Provide regular updates on performance, market trends, and customer feedback

Prepare and present sales reports, Territory business plans, and forecasts

Participate in sales meetings and manage the sales budget for the assigned state.

Tertiary Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture, Animal Science, Vet Nurse or within the Veterinary discipline.

Knowledge and Experience:

Previous Sales experience in areas related to animal health.

Minimum 5 years-experience in a similar role.

Well-developed skills in negotiating, influencing and establishing collaborative relationships.

Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as a team.
