About the role
The physiotherapist or exercise physiologist will be a valued member of the Persistent Pain Service team undertaking assessment and treatment of patients with persistent pain.
We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity:
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
- Providing advice and support to patients that is consistent with the identified goals and self-management approach of the persistent pain programs
- Attend and actively participate in clinical team meetings
- Assist in the collection, collation and reporting of clinical outcome data as required
- Contribute to research projects in the persistent pain specialty field as appropriate
- Undertaking assessments to determine potential participants' suitability to participate in particular programs of the Persistent Pain Service
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist or with ESSA as an Exercise Physiologist
