The Co-Group is seeking a female Burmese-speaking Support Worker to support a client in Strathfield, NSW. The client is an 87 y/o female Aged Care client with severe Dementia, so the family would love someone who is patient and experienced.

Shift requirements:

• 2-3 days/week (weekdays + morning time)
• 2-3 hours per shift
• Mostly assisting with personal care and domestic assistance, however other supports may be required

Requirements:

• Burmese-speaking female
• Valid Driver's Licence & access to a comprehensive-insured car
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC)
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment
• Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must be willing to provide all aspects of support including anything from meal preparation to domestic assistance, community access and personal care
• Experience with Disability and/or Aged Care

What you'll do:

• Complete all tasks relevant to support work including anything from meal preparation to domestic assistance, community access and personal care
• Empower participants to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible
• Be a trusted and reliable point of contact for participants and their families
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation such as shift notes, progress notes, behaviour charts and incident reports.
• Follow company policies and procedures
