First Auto Parts are currently seeking a Mechanic for dismantling work.

We specialize in commercial and 4x4 vehicle recycling and have in in the business for over 30 years.

If you have had enough of dealership or general workshop life, then give yourself the ability to find a fresh outlook by switching over to First Auto Parts.

No dealing with hassling customers directly, no rushed servicing, no repairing or replacing of components and parts.

Instead, have your work in front of you as you process vehicles systematically, removing parts and components with basic assessment.

Dismantling tasks include but are not limited to:

• Following parts & processing documents
• Removing parts and/or components from vehicles
• Grading and assessing parts
• Testing some items as required
• Cleaning some parts if required
• Proactive cleaning of workstation

You may also be asked to

• Remove part/s as requested by job order from a vehicle
• Assist other team members

Key requirements for the position would be:

• A passion for automotive
• Depth of part and vehicle knowledge
• Great time management skills
• Be a team player to fill in where needed
• Must have own tools for dismantling
• A forklift license would also be preferable

Working hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00pm
