About the role

Custom Lift Interiors Pty Ltd is seeking a talented and experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in Salisbury, Queensland. As a full-time Sheet Metal Worker, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing and fabrication of high-quality lift interior components and accessories.

What you'll be doing

Operate sheet metal machinery such as press brake, guillotine to cut, bend, and shape metal components

Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication

Perform welding and polishing tasks to assemble metal components

Carry out quality inspections and make adjustments to maintain high standards of workmanship

Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects

Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in sheet metal working or a related trade, such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade

Extensive experience (minimum 3-5 years) as a Sheet Metal Worker, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industries

Proficient in the use of sheet metal machinery.

Excellent reading and interpretation skills for technical drawings

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills
