We are working on engaging with our 'ideal' client who is looking for a hand on accounting firm who thinks outside the box.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The role includes the following responsibilities:
Management of your own dedicated client list
Review of statutory obligations such Financial Statements, Tax Returns, IAS, BAS and STP Finalisation
Managing supervision, training and mentoring of junior staff, including daily workflow management
Maintaining a commercial outlook and managing teams performance in relation to productivity, WIP and budgets
Provide our clients with ongoing training and support
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
At least 8 years experience in an accounting role is essential, preferably in a management capacity
An appropriate undergraduate degree in Commerce/Accounting
Member of a relevant professional body, including ICAA or CPA Australlia
Extensive experience using accounting software, including XPM, FYI docs, Karbon, Xero and MYOB
Have a passion and knowledge of leading software packages and integrations
Professional manner and good communication skills
Experience in working to deadlines and time management skills
Ability to apply a commercial approach to their work
