An established and growing mid-tier accounting and advisory firm is looking for a Senior Accountant or Supervisor to join their Business Services & Tax team in the Newcastle office. With strong client relationships across government, listed, and private sectors, and a close-knit, high-performing team, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career.

The Opportunity Reporting to the Director of Business Services & Tax, you’ll be part of a collaborative team of six.

This role is focused on building leadership capability within the team and providing additional support to the Director. You'll manage a portfolio of clients (details shared at interview) and be involved in both compliance and advisory work.

What You’ll Bring

• 3–6+ years’ experience in public practice
  
  
• Strong technical background in tax and compliance
  
  
• Experience managing client relationships independently
  
  
• Interest or experience in leading/mentoring junior team members
  
  
• CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
