About the role

Join the team at the City Sider Motel as our Motel Manager. This full-time role in Tamworth, NSW will see you responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our well-established motel. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of the business and contributing to its continued success.

What you'll be doing

Managing the motel's front office operations, including check-in/check-out, reservations, and guest relations

Overseeing the housekeeping and maintenance team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property

Monitoring inventory and placing orders for supplies as needed

Effectively managing staffing, rostering, and training to ensure excellent service delivery

Analysing booking data and occupancy rates to identify opportunities for improvement

Addressing customer feedback and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner

What we're looking for

Our Motel Manager should be a person who enjoys a "Hands on" approach to management, looks forward to engaging with our customers and strives to exceed our guests expectations of customer service.

Significant experience in a similar management role either within the hospitality industry or similar experience in a management role.

Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to deliver exceptional customer service.

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with guests, staff, and other stakeholders.

Sound business acumen and an analytical mindset to drive performance improvements.

Familiarity with Property Management Software and office computer software and systems

A commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences

If your current experience in Property Management Software does not include RMS, training and professional help is available to help with your development with this software.

The ability to live in and enjoy a fully furnished 1 Bedroom Managers unit with its own kitchen, loungeroom, large bedroom with ensuite and a private turfed outdoor area, or live off site and come to work and manage the motel.

Enjoy a 5 ½ Day working week.

4 weeks paid annual leave.

Experienced front office support staff to help you manage the motel.

Gardening and maintenance contractors maintain the premises.
