About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Shelter Lennox Head as a Restaurant Manager. Reporting to the Owners, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving revenue growth. This is a full-time role based in the vibrant coastal town of Lennox Head, NSW.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff supervision, scheduling, and training
• Oversee inventory management, stock control, and cost of goods
• Ensure exceptional customer service by leading and motivating the front-of-house team
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
• Manage customer inquiries, reservations, in a professional and timely manner
• Management of weddings and events

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar restaurant management role
• Proven track record of successfully managing a restaurant operation, including staff and customer service
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders
• Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting
• Thorough understanding of food and beverage operations
• Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field would be an advantage
