The Role
An opportunity for a passionate Accountant - Head Of Finance who really cares and takes pride in the business they work for. This is a critical leadership role suited to someone who is not only technically strong but also commercially minded, proactive, and ready to be a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team.

Key roles & responsibilities:

• Prepare, Manage & Monitor all taxation practices (BASs, PAYG, Payroll tax…), as well as evaluating benefits and compensation packages.
• Undertake end of quarter BAS
• Manage all Budget & Forecast for all financial and non-financial reports
• Preparation, Manage & audit all monthly financial management reports tracking financial performance against budget accounts and reports: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
• Variance Analysis around actual results compared to the budget and forecasts for each profit and cost centre per job and as a company overall
• Analysing trends and financial performance across business units
• Month end accounting including reconciliations and journals
• Taking part in systems and process improvement initiatives

The Requirements

• Prior experience in as an Accountant
• Experience working in the construction industry
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Prior experience in Job Pack
• Friendly and personable
• Ability to monitor and prioritise tasks
• Highly regarded if you have prior experience working across different entities and subsidiaries as apart of a group or parent company
