Darling Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Venue Manager to lead our team at The Terrace, a landmark project nestled in the unrivaled setting of Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens. As the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the seamless operation of the venue, managing the front-of-the-house team, and ensuring an unparalleled experience for our patrons.

The Terrace is a landmark project led by Darling Group in the unrivalled setting of Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens. A true Melbourne icon is revitalised – a conservatory by an ornamental lake. Experience & Skills:

• Previous experience in cafe / restaurant management position
• Passionate about people, hospitality and experiences
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Exemplary service skills and standards.
• Proven track record of achieving financial targets, for example revenue, cost of goods and labour.
• Strong organisation skills with the capability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of attention to detail and forward thinking to identify opportunities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
• Able and willing to work a rotating roster including weekend, public holiday, daytime and evening services.
• Excellent communication and presentation
• Function and event experience a bonus.
