Job Title: Aged Care Support Worker (In-Home Services)

Location: Various locations – travel to clients' homes required
Hours: Flexible roster between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary:

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Support Workers to provide a range of aged care services to clients in their own homes. The role involves personal care, domestic assistance, transport, and social support. Flexibility, a caring attitude, and strong communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care (e.g., showering, toileting, dressing)

Assist with domestic duties (e.g., cleaning, laundry, meal preparation)

Offer social and community support (e.g., companionship, outings)

Provide transport to appointments or activities using your own vehicle

Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with care plans

Essential Requirements:

Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or equivalent)

Current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable, insured vehicle

Must know how to drive

National Police Clearance (valid and up to date)

NDIS Worker Screening Check / Clearance

First Aid Certificate and CPR (HLTAID009 or equivalent)

Manual Handling training (current)

COVID-19 vaccination certificate (as per health guidelines)

Valid Tax File Number (TFN) and Superannuation details

Fluent English skills – verbal and written (for communication and documentation)

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in aged care or community support

Ability to work independently and follow care plans

Excellent time management and reliability

Compassionate and patient demeanour

Flexible availability between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM or beyond if required, with a willingness to work on a rotating roster
