Mechanical Engineer (Intermediate Level)

Location: Perth
Duration: 12-months initial casual contract
Company: Engineering Consultancy (Mining)

Key Responsibilities

Deliver design engineering for mechanical systems within minerals processing plants, including conveyors, pumps, and other processing equipment

Develop detailed design calculations, specifications, and drawings to ensure optimal system performance

Conduct feasibility studies and provide engineering solutions to meet project requirements

Collaborate with cross-engineering teams to develop integrated designs that support efficient plant operations

Occasional ad-hoc site visits

What you'll need to succeed

4-7 years' experience in design engineering, particularly in GOLD projects

MUST have previous EPCM / engineering consultancy experience

A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

Strong background in mechanical system design, with a focus on mineral processing equipment
