This position will suit an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a background working on dewatering or borefields and pumpstation projects to join a major iron ore miner in this Perth based role. You will have a solid background in design and the desire progress your career.

You will contribute to the project through:

Perform engineering calculations and design.

Contribute to internal and external meetings

Reporting on progress

Ensure work is completed to statutory and regulatory requirements

Provide advice during design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.

The ideal candidate will have a background & experience in:

Bachelor of Mechanical engineering

Previous specific experience in dewatering or borefield and pumpstation design.

Hydraulic calculations

HDE piping

Must have previous experience on a mining design project
