SMC is seeking a mechanical engineer to join our team.

SMC design and manufacturer of a wide range of products ranging from heavy mining machinery, winches, material handling products, offshore oil and gas products and engineering services.

Engineering duties include;

3D Design and engineering using Autodesk Inventor

Detail design drawings

Autodesk inventor experience required

ISO 9001 implementation/ QA compliance

Procurement and estimating

Assist in project planning and management

Trade qualification/ experience is advantageous but not required

Degree qualification advantageous, but not required if Trade Qualified

This is a diversified role that will suit a Tradesperson with an Advanced diploma, or somebody with around 5 - 10 years of post graduate experience in the mining fabrication and refurbishment environment.
