We specialise in fuel tank installations, pipework and bowser installations, underground tank relining, fuel station decommissioning, soil remediation works, and fuel & water monitoring systems.

All applicants must have prior experience working on a service station.

About the Role:

Aust Fuel Petroleum is seeking a Fuel System Installer/Offsider/Fitter. The position is full-time and available for immediate start. The position will involve:

Installation of fuel equipment and systems including underground and aboveground tanks

Installation of fuel pipework for suction and pressurised systems

Commissioning of fuel dispensing equipment

Assisting with site preparation - set out, concrete cutting, minor and bulk excavation works

Assisting with site and tank decommissioning

Installation of hazardous areas electrical rough-in

Reinstatement of concrete

Assist fibreglass technicians with underground tank relining works

Working Conditions:

Workshop based in Caloundra, Sunshine Coast

Working within hazardous areas

Out of area travel and work required

Monday to Friday hours (no weekend work)

Skills & Abilities:

The successful applicant will have:

Prior fuel installation experience essential

Fitter, mechanical, electrical, carpentry or plumbing trade experience desirable but not mandatory

Current drivers' license

Knowledge of safe work practices and WH&S

Valid Construction Induction Card

Diverse skillset of specialised construction equipment

Positive and friendly attitude

Ability to work within a team and unsupervised

Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
