About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-focused team member to join our Joinery team in Epping VIC. This role is hands-on and involves operating tools and machinery to manufacture timber doors and related joinery products.
You’ll follow detailed part drawings or sales orders, carry out machine set-ups, and perform quality checks throughout the process. If you’ve got a background in joinery, carpentry, or timber-based manufacturing — and you’re confident reading measurements and working safely — we’d like to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day
- Operate tools and machines to produce timber joinery items (Timber doors)
- Read and follow part drawings, blueprints, and measurements
- Set up and calibrate machinery to job requirements
- Complete safety checks and machine inspections
- Keep your workspace clean and tools maintained
- Follow quality control standards throughout the job
- Take part in team meetings and training sessions
- Help meet production targets and support your team
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in hands-on work like manufacturing, trades or warehousing
- Prior experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints (preferred, but not essential)
- Prior experience using CNC (Computer Numerical Control machine) will be highly regarded, but not essential
- Comfortable using tools
- Physically fit and reliable
- Focused on quality, safety and teamwork
- Willing to work full-time in Epping, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm
- Can pass a pre-employment medical and police check
- A forklift licence will be highly regarded, but not essential (or willing to get a forklift licence)
