After a recently announced project win a well-regarded head contractor requires an experienced Senior Contract Administrator for a large-scale healthcare project based in Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs. With a multi-year construction program ahead, this role offers long-term stability and the opportunity to grow into a senior leadership figure within the team.

The Opportunity:
You’ll take the commercial lead on this project, overseeing end-to-end financial and contractual performance from early procurement through to final close-out. Working alongside an experienced Project Manager and delivery team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring risk is managed, margins are protected, and subcontractor relationships are executed smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop and manage project financials, cost reports, and risk reviews
• Prepare and execute procurement strategies for all trades
• Draft and administer subcontracts, including variations and claims
• Track scope changes and negotiate with the client where needed
• Support and mentor Contract Administrators and junior staff
• Engage with the client and consultant teams to ensure commercial alignment
• Drive project completion reviews and lessons learned

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in Contract Administration or Commercial roles
• Proven ability to manage complex subcontractor packages on commercial builds
• Strong working knowledge of Jobpac, ProcurePro, and construction delivery systems
• Previous healthcare or complex government project exposure
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or similar
• Professionalism, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
