About the Role

We currently have a vacancy for a passionate and experienced Language/Maths Specialist Tutor to join the team. You'll play a vital role, potentially helping students with dyslexia, attention deficit disorder or auditory processing disorder, develop essential language and mathematics skills.

Your duties would include but not be limited to:

Design and deliver engaging, multisensory tutoring sessions

Assess student skill levels and develop individualised learning plans

Utilise evidence-based teaching methods and learning resources

Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate with parents/caregivers

Collaborate with our team to share best practices and improve our tutoring programs

About You

Along with a strong work ethic and a passionate commitment to providing tailored evidence based teaching practices you'll have/be:

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, Linguistics, Mathematics or a related field

Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident

Demonstrated experience in one-on-one or small group tutoring, particularly with students experiencing learning difficulties

Strong knowledge of language development, literacy instruction and mathematical concepts

Excellent communication and proficiency in written and spoken English and great interpersonal skills

Creativity and adaptability to cater to diverse learning styles and needs

Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
