Junior Audiovisual Technician – Entry-Level Opportunity for School Leavers

About the Role
Videopro is looking for motivated individuals to join our Technical Teams in a Junior AV Technician role. You’ll provide support to our installation teams, assisting with technical, administrative, and hands-on installation tasks. This is an ideal starting point for someone looking to build a long-term career in the AV industry.
You'll need to be keen to learn, comfortable working in a team, and ready to pitch in wherever needed. Good communication skills and a positive attitude go a long way here.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting the delivery of AV projects on-site, including new builds and retrofits
Learning the basics of AV system design, installation, testing and commissioning
Attending training and development sessions aligned to our Technician Skills Matrix
Assisting with cable runs, equipment installation, and basic setup under supervision
Communicating effectively with internal teams and customers
Following safety, quality and company standards on every job
What We’re Looking For
A genuine interest in technology and how things work
Willingness to learn and take direction
Strong listening and communication skills
A white/blue card (or willingness to obtain one)
Reliability and a team-first attitude
Willingness to do physical tasks (cabling, lifting equipment, etc.)
Ability to work paid overtime if required
