About the Role

We are looking for a caring and passionate Registered Nurse to join our supportive team at on a casual basis. We are a busy practice and the ability to multi-task while staying focused is essential. This opportunity includes the following key responsibilities:

Assisting dermatologist in clinical examinations, surgical procedures and treatments.

Providing compassionate nursing care to patients before, during and after their appointments.

Preparing treatments rooms, restocking equipment and sterilising surgical instruments.

Ensuring all documentation is completed at a high standard.

Provide wound care post procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Liaising with patients, answering questions and providing high quality patient education.

Flexibility in availability.

Ongoing training and developmental opportunities.

Skills and experience

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

A minimum of 3 years post graduate experience.

The ability to communicate in a clear and considerate manner with patients, reception team members, practitioners and external healthcare professionals.

Experience in a similar role in private practice, dermatology would be fantastic but not essential.

Proven experience navigating clinical IT systems.
