We are looking for a passionate and experienced General Manager to guide Tongala Memorial forward, while honouring its rich local legacy.

About the role
As the General Manager of Tongala Memorial, you will bring together your clinical expertise, operational skills and caring leadership to create a truly welcoming and supportive home. You will oversee the day‑to‑day running of our 70‑bed facility, ensuring high standards of care, safety and compliance, all while nurturing a workplace culture where staff feel valued, engaged and motivated.
You will be the face of Tongala Memorial, building meaningful connections with residents, families, local stakeholders and the wider Tongala community. You will also collaborate closely with Respect Aged Care’s dedicated corporate services teams, from clinical governance and quality to people & culture, finance, procurement and catering -allowing you to focus on your strengths: leading people and shaping culture.

About you
-Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
-Leadership experience in residential aged care (ideally 3+ years)
-Strong knowledge of aged care quality standards and funding frameworks
-Confident communicator who leads with empathy and integrity
-Passion for resident‑centred care and building a warm, inclusive team culture
