Day shifts with flexible availability

💼What your Day-To-Day will look like:
Daily Living: Assisting individuals with disabilities of all ages to improve their capacity and capability using a person-centered approach
Transport: Providing transport support to enable participants to access community and social activities, their shopping, attend medical and specialist's appointments, etc
Domestic Duties: In line with the participants service agreement, such as vacuuming, cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping
PBSP: Behaviour Management Strategies and supporting individuals who have complex needs and challenging behaviours using a person-centred approach
Personal Care: May include helping with toileting, bathing, showering, oral hygiene and other personal hygiene care in some settings
🤝Requirements of the role:
Have true empathy & a positive attitude
Willingness to work a variety of shifts including afternoons, sleepovers and weekends
Relevant qualifications for the role or an interest in/currently pursuing relevant study options (Cert III Individual Support recommended)
Completing daily shift notes, administration tasks and incident reports
Willingness to work as part of a team & pick up additional shifts as requested
Hope & Healing Certificate for working with Youth (We can help with this)

✅A requirement prior to commencement is that you must be eligible to apply for or currently hold the following, which are to be maintained at your own expense:
Blue Card/QLD Working with Children Card - No Card/No Start
Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Screening Check - No Card/No Start
Valid and current First Aid and CPR Certification
Must have a current Drivers Licence & Comprehensive Car Insurance
Must have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module & Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals Module
Have the right to work in Australia
