Your new company is a trade supplier in Queanbeyan. They are family-owned and operated and their key focus for the business is having the right people to create a great team culture and to service their clients and build great business relationships.

Your new role
In this role you will be required to:

• Learn the company products to be able to assist on the counter, providing advice and conducting sales.
  
• Work in the warehouse to pick and pack orders, including manual handling of large and long items.
  
• Operate the forklift in a safe manner to load and unload trucks
  
• Represent the company in a positive and professional manner and work alongside your colleagues to help create a great workplace.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Demonstrated recent experience in a similar warehousing position
  
• Experience in the building/ construction / trades industry is highly regarded.
  
• A valid forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
  
• Good communications skills and a professional manner
